이 앱은 회원가입·로그인이 없고, 개발자는 이름·이메일·전화번호 등 어떤 개인정보도 수집하지 않습니다. 광고는 Google AdMob 이 보여 주며, 모든 사용자를 아동으로 처리해 맞춤 광고를 하지 않고 광고 ID 를 보내지 않습니다. 광고 SDK 가 처리하는 정보는 아래 3장에 적었습니다. 그 밖에 앱이 개발자나 다른 회사의 서버로 보내는 데이터는 없습니다.

1. 기기 안에 저장하는 것

감자의 상태(배고픔·청결·졸림), 하트, 옷장·가구 소유 목록, 감자 이름과 꾸미기, 설정(알림·소리·언어), 그리고 처음 실행할 때 입력한 태어난 해를 기기 안에 저장합니다. 태어난 해는 보여 줄 광고 형식을 고르는 데만 쓰며 기기 밖으로 보내지 않습니다.
기기에서 Android 자동 백업(Google 계정 백업)이 켜져 있으면, Android 가 이 저장 파일을 사용자 본인의 Google 계정 백업에 포함할 수 있습니다. 새 폰이나 다시 설치할 때 감자를 되살리는 용도이며, 개발자는 이 백업에 접근할 수 없습니다. 기기 설정에서 백업을 끌 수 있습니다.

2. 앱이 요구하는 권한

인터넷 접근(INTERNET) — 광고를 받아오는 데 씁니다. 게임 데이터를 인터넷으로 보내지 않습니다. 앱 업데이트 확인은 기기의 Google Play 스토어 앱이 합니다.
알림(POST_NOTIFICATIONS) — 감자가 배고프거나 졸릴 때 하루 최대 2회, 밤 21시~아침 9시에는 보내지 않는 로컬 알림입니다. 서버에서 오는 푸시가 아니며 설정에서 끌 수 있습니다.
화면 켜 두기(WAKE_LOCK) — "화면 켜 두기" 설정을 켰을 때만 씁니다.

그 밖에 앱이 쓰는 라이브러리(로컬 알림 · 작업 예약 등)가 넣는 일반 권한 RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED · ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE · FOREGROUND_SERVICE · DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION 이 있습니다. 설치할 때 자동으로 주어지는 권한으로 사용자에게 묻지 않으며, 이 권한들로 데이터를 보내지 않습니다.

광고 ID · 위치 · 카메라 · 마이크 · 연락처 · 전화 · 저장소 권한은 요청하지 않습니다.

3. 광고 — Google AdMob

광고는 Google LLC 의 AdMob 이 보여 주며, 앱 안 한 곳 — 선물 상자에만 나옵니다. 사용자가 광고 보기를 고를 때만 나오며, 끝까지 보면 하트 10개를 받습니다. 상자는 30분마다 1개씩 차고, 최대 5개까지 모아 둘 수 있습니다.

이 앱은 모든 광고 요청을 아동 대상으로 처리합니다. 맞춤 광고와 리마케팅을 하지 않고, 광고 ID 를 보내지 않으며, 전체이용가 광고만 요청합니다. 처음 실행할 때 태어난 해를 묻고, 18세 미만이거나 답하지 않은 사용자에게는 5초 뒤 닫을 수 있는 광고 형식만 보여 줍니다. 유럽 경제 지역 · 영국 · 스위스에서는 동의 도구 없이 제한 광고만 나옵니다.

AdMob SDK 는 광고를 보여 주고 부정 클릭을 막기 위해 IP 주소(대략적인 위치), 앱 사용 이벤트(광고 노출·클릭), 진단 정보, 앱 세트 ID 를 처리할 수 있습니다. 이 정보는 Google 이 자사 개인정보처리방침에 따라 처리합니다: Google 개인정보처리방침 · Google 의 광고 기술. 개발자는 이 정보에 접근하지 않으며, 별도로 보관하지 않습니다.

이전 버전 안내 — 1.10 이하(비공개 테스트에만 배포)에는 AdMob 테스트 광고만 나왔고, 광고 ID 권한(com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID) · ACCESS_ADSERVICES_* 가 들어 있었으며 AdMob SDK 가 광고 ID 를 처리할 수 있었습니다. 1.12 부터는 광고 ID 권한을 빼고 위와 같이 처리합니다.

4. 제3자 제공

개발자가 수집·보관하는 개인정보가 없으므로 제3자에게 제공하는 것도 없습니다. 3장의 Google AdMob 처리가 유일한 외부 데이터 흐름입니다. 앱 업데이트 확인은 기기의 Google Play 스토어 앱이 처리합니다.

5. 아동

이 앱은 6세 이상 아동과 어른이 함께 즐길 수 있는 힐링 게임입니다. 회원가입·외부 로그인·다른 사용자와의 대화 기능이 없고, 개발자는 아동을 포함한 누구에게서도 개인정보를 직접 수집하지 않습니다. 처음 실행할 때 태어난 해를 한 번 묻는 화면은 기준 나이를 알려 주지 않으며, 답하지 않으면 아동으로 처리합니다. 광고는 3장과 같이 모든 사용자에게 아동 대상 처리로 요청합니다. 아동의 정보가 수집되었다고 생각되면 아래 연락처로 알려 주십시오. 바로 조치하겠습니다.

6. 데이터 삭제

앱 데이터(태어난 해 포함)는 기기 설정 → 앱 → 감자 키우기 → 저장공간 → 데이터 삭제로 지울 수 있습니다. 앱을 삭제할 때 기기가 "앱 데이터 보관"을 물으면 보관을 고르지 않으면 함께 지워집니다. Google 계정 백업에 들어간 사본은 기기 설정 → Google → 백업에서 관리합니다. 개발자 쪽에 남는 데이터는 없습니다.

This app has no account or sign-in, and the developer collects no personal information (name, e-mail, phone number or anything else). Ads are shown by Google AdMob; every user is treated as a child, so there are no personalised ads and no advertising ID is sent. What the advertising SDK processes is described in section 3. Apart from that, the app sends no data to the developer's or any other company's servers.

1. Data stored on your device

Your potato's status (hunger, cleanliness, sleepiness), hearts, owned outfits and furniture, the potato's name and look, settings (notifications, sound, language) and the birth year entered on first launch are kept on the device. The birth year is used only to choose which ad format to show and never leaves the device. If Android Auto Backup (Google account backup) is on, Android may include this save file in your own Google account backup so the potato can be restored on a new phone or after reinstalling. The developer cannot access that backup. You can turn backup off in device settings.

2. Permissions

INTERNET (used to fetch ads; no game data is sent over the internet, and update checks are done by the Google Play Store app), POST_NOTIFICATIONS (local reminders, at most twice a day and never between 21:00 and 09:00; can be turned off in settings — no server push) and WAKE_LOCK (only when "keep screen on" is enabled). Libraries the app uses (local notifications, task scheduling and similar) also add the normal permissions RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, FOREGROUND_SERVICE and DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION. They are granted automatically at install without asking the user, and no data is sent through them. No advertising ID, location, camera, microphone, contacts, phone or storage permissions are requested.

3. Advertising — Google AdMob

Ads are shown by AdMob, the advertising service of Google LLC, in only one place: the gift box — only when the user chooses to watch an ad, rewarding 10 hearts. Gift boxes refill one every 30 minutes, and up to 5 can be saved up.

The app treats every ad request as child-directed: no personalised ads or remarketing, no advertising ID is sent, and only general-audience ads are requested. On first launch the app asks for the birth year; users under 18, or who do not answer, are shown only ad formats that can be closed after 5 seconds. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, limited ads are shown without a consent tool.

To show ads and prevent fraud the AdMob SDK may process the IP address (approximate location), ad events (impressions, clicks), diagnostics and the app set ID. Google handles this data under its own policies: Google Privacy Policy · How Google uses information from ads. The developer does not access or retain this data.

Earlier versions — versions 1.10 and earlier (closed testing only) showed AdMob test ads only and included the advertising ID permission (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID) and ACCESS_ADSERVICES_*, so the AdMob SDK could process the advertising ID. From 1.12 the advertising ID permission is removed and ads are handled as above.

4. Third parties

The developer collects nothing, so nothing is shared. The Google AdMob processing in section 3 is the only external data flow. Update checks are handled by the Google Play Store app on the device.

5. Children

The game is made for children aged 6 and up and for adults. It has no account, external sign-in or chat with other users, and the developer collects no personal information directly from anyone, including children. The birth-year question on first launch does not reveal any cut-off age, and users who do not answer are treated as children. As described in section 3, every ad request is treated as child-directed. If you believe a child's information has been collected, contact us below and it will be addressed immediately.

6. Deletion

You can clear the app's data (including the birth year) in device Settings → Apps → Potato Pet → Storage → Clear data. When uninstalling, the data is removed unless you choose to keep app data if the device asks. Copies in your Google account backup are managed in device Settings → Google → Backup. No data exists on the developer's side.

7. Changes

Updates are posted on this page with a new effective date.
